Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about diesel generator sets, configurations, and our services
Prime power (PRP) is the maximum power a generator can deliver continuously while supplying variable load for unlimited hours. Standby power (ESP) is the maximum power available during a utility power outage for a limited time (typically up to 500 hours per year). For most backup applications, standby power rating is sufficient. For continuous or prime power applications where the generator runs as the main power source, use the prime power rating. We recommend consulting with our sales team to determine the appropriate rating for your specific application.
Open type generators have the engine, alternator, and components mounted on a steel baseframe without enclosure — they are cost-effective and suitable for indoor installation or areas where noise is not a concern. Silent type generators are enclosed in a sound-attenuated, weatherproof canopy that significantly reduces noise levels (typically 65-75 dB(A) @ 7m), making them suitable for outdoor installation and noise-sensitive environments like hospitals, hotels, and residential areas.
Yes, we offer generator sets with Cummins, Perkins, MTU, Volvo Penta, SDEC, Yuchai, and other engine brands. Our Cummins options include Dongfeng Cummins (DFC), Chongqing Cummins (CKC), and Xi'an Cummins (XCEC) platforms. Perkins options are available from 20 kVA to 2000 kVA. Please contact us with your power requirement and engine preference for a detailed quotation.
Yes, we offer comprehensive voltage and frequency customization. Standard options include 220V, 380V, 400V, 416V, 440V, 480V for low voltage, and 6.6kV, 11kV for medium voltage. Both 50 Hz and 60 Hz are available. We can also accommodate other voltage requirements upon request. Please specify your requirements when requesting a quotation.
Yes, we support both 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequency standards. Our generators can be configured for either frequency depending on your destination country's standard. We can also provide dual-frequency capability for certain models. Please confirm your frequency requirement when placing an inquiry.
Yes, we provide Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and control panels for seamless power switching between utility and generator power. Our ATS range includes open transition and closed transition types, with current ratings from 63A to 6300A, compatible with various voltage levels. We also offer AMF (Automatic Mains Failure) panels for fully automatic generator start and transfer.
To provide an accurate quotation, we need: 1) Power requirement (kVA or kW), 2) Prime or standby application, 3) Voltage / frequency / phase, 4) Engine brand preference (if any), 5) Open / silent / containerized / trailer type, 6) Quantity required, 7) Destination port or country, 8) Any special requirements. The more details you provide, the more accurate and tailored your quotation will be.
Our standard warranty is 12 months or 1000 operating hours, whichever comes first, from the date of shipment. Extended warranty options are available upon request. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance conditions. Please refer to our warranty policy for full terms and conditions.
Yes, we can provide spare parts for all our generator sets, including engine parts, alternator parts, control system components, filters, and maintenance kits. We recommend keeping a basic spare parts kit for routine maintenance and emergency repairs. Please contact us with your generator model and required parts list for a quotation.
Yes, we specialize in project-based customization. Our engineering team can work with you to develop customized power solutions including custom voltage and frequency configurations, parallel operation systems, containerized power plants, remote monitoring integration, and special control system requirements. Contact us with your project specifications for a consultation.
Yes, we provide containerized generator sets integrated into standard ISO containers (20ft or 40ft). These complete power solutions include the generator set, fuel system, control system, cooling system, and optional switchgear — all housed in a weatherproof, easily transportable container. Ideal for large-scale projects, mining operations, and distributed power generation.
Yes, we support high voltage (medium voltage) generator projects with direct output at 6.6kV or 11kV. These are commonly used in data centers, mining operations, power plants, and large industrial facilities. Our high voltage solutions are available in open, containerized, and soundproof configurations from 500 kVA and above.
Diesel generator sets are used across a wide range of industries including: data centers (critical backup power), hospitals and medical facilities (life safety systems), mining operations (remote power), construction sites (temporary power), hotels and resorts (guest comfort and safety), logistics and warehousing (operations continuity), telecom infrastructure (base station power), power plants (auxiliary and backup power), factories (production continuity), and infrastructure projects (construction and emergency power).
